Paintings

My paintings explore the relationship between place, presence and inner experience. Through landscape and the human figure, I investigate the spaces between the familiar and the unknown, the tangible and the transcendent.

Hamakom explores the meaning of place as both a physical landscape and an inner experience. Through solitary figures situated in landscapes across Israel, South Africa and New York, the series reflects on belonging, identity and the search for connection.

Inspired by the landscapes in and around Beit Shemesh, A Peace of Land explores the beauty, complexity and layered significance of the Israeli landscape. Through its natural forms and traces of history, the series reflects on the deep connections between land, identity, and belonging.
